Mother Nature Wins - Nolan Wren Memorial Cancelled due to weather

Due to overnight showers and impending rain today and a very bad forecast for tomorrow. The Nolan Wren Memorial featuring the ASCS Sprint Cars and the regular race program for May 3, 2019 has been cancelled. The speedway will check the schedule and that of the ASCS Series to see if this race can be rescheduled later in the season to get this event in and honor the legacy of Nolan Wren.
We waited this weather out but the incoming rain today will not allow enough time to dry out the facility and allow the track crew time to provide a racing surface needed for Friday Night Action.
It is our intent to get this event in and provide great ASCS Sprint Car Racing for our fans and provide a great venue for the drivers and this event and we will do everything we can to try and make this happen.

We will hope the forecast for next week gets better and we can host the South Texas Late Model Series opener Friday MAy 10th.
