A Family Accomplishment
Seven was the lucky number for Justin Melton Friday night at Heart o' Texas Speedway in Waco. Starting from this position, Justin tracked down race long leader on the 1/4 mile bullring and in lapped traffic snuck his way by to pick up the win. His first of the season with the NCRA Sprint Car Bandits series driving his EAGLE.
Also using lapped traffic to capitalize this weekend was Chase Randall at Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas. Starting near the front Chase would keep within striking distance until the opportunity presented itself. Leading on the white flag lap to win in his STALLARD SST.
Former IMCA National Champion, John Ricketts, traveled to the Bayou state from Texas and came home with the winners share. The Louisiana Outlaw Racesaver Sprints were hosted by Chatham Speedway over the weekend. A hammer down track returned John his first win of the season in his EAGLE.
